This walk, led by local historian and guide Shirley Newton, will take us through the historic canal-side parts of the Town and the elegant late-17th century/early-18th century area of The Butts.

We were intending to meet at the Albany Road bus-stop in Ealing Road (65 bus) but this stop is currently closed. Instead we will meet by 7pm outside The Watermen’s Arms pub on Ferry Lane.

If you are coming by bus from Richmond get off 65 bus in the High Street at the Waterman’s Centre stop. (From the bus-stop walk towards the centre of Brentford and Ferry Lane is just beyond the Premier Inn) where our walk will start and finish.

We start at 7.00 pm and conclude by 9.00 pm, adjourning to a historic local pub.

**  This walk is part of a series of summer 2024 walks organised by Paul Velluet, the Society’s President. Although it is free for members of the Society, numbers are limited to a maximum of 20 people and all the walks are now fully booked.
