Trumpeters’ House lies between the Thames and Richmond Green on the historic grounds of Richmond Palace. Its name comes from the two statues of trumpeting figures that had adorned the Middle Gate of the old Richmond Palace and were erected at the new house.

This visit to the gardens of Trumpeters’ House, guided by the knowledgeable Mark Lucas and made possible by Baroness van Dedem (the current custodian of Trumpeters’ House), promises to be a memorable experience. It offers a rare opportunity to explore one of Richmond’s hidden gems, appreciate its horticultural splendour, and gain insights into its rich history.

This visit is for members only and their guests. Tickets (£10 each) must be booked in advance and are available through Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/rlhs-summer-party-at-the-gardens-of-trumpeters-house-tickets-896378621587
