* * All our summer walks are now fully booked.  We can accommodate a maximum of 20 people on each walk and if places become available we will offer them to people on our waiting list. To join the waiting list for a particular walk, please  email Elizabeth Velluet at rich.hist@yahoo.co.uk

The walk starts at 7pm on Richmond Green, opposite the Richmond Theatre, and will conclude by 9pm, adjourning to a local pub.

This walk embraces the area of Richmond Hill; The Terrace Gardens; Petersham Common and Meadows; and the heart of Petersham village, finishing with a visit to the ancient St Peter’s Church, led by local historians Keith Mulberry and Jean Allsopp.

Our walks are free to Richmond Local History Society members, who will be given priority over non-members when booking. We charge £5 to non-members (and members’ guests).
