The walk starts at 7pm on Richmond Green, opposite the Richmond Theatre, and will conclude by 9pm, adjourning to a local pub.
This walk visits five of the eleven groups of historic and later almshouses in Richmond town. It will finish with a visit to the chapel at Hickey’s Almshouses with the new Chief Executive of The Richmond Charities and the Almshouses’ Chaplain, The Revd. Derrick Thompson.
Our walks are free to Richmond Local History Society members, who will be given priority over non-members when booking. We charge £5 to non-members (and members’ guests).
