The Poppy Factory has been an integral part of Richmond since the 1920s.  Today the Poppy Factory still makes Remembrance products there, and it also supports veterans into all kinds of employment across England and Wales.  2022 marks both The Poppy Factory’s Centenary and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.  The tour will highlight the special relationship between The Poppy Factory and the Royal Family.  We will learn the history of the Factory and you will be able to have a go at making your own remembrance poppy.  We will also learn how veterans still make Royal and Regimental wreaths by hand today.

We will meet at The Poppy Factory, which is  on Petersham Road in Richmond.  The tour will last approximately two hours and includes tea/coffee and cake.  The cost is £18 per person.
