THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
By kind permission of Baroness van Dedem, the Richmond Local History
Society is able to offer a very special treat for garden lovers and history buffs.
This is on the site of Henry VII’s huge Palace of Richmond, which in 1501 was the
most magnificent palace in England and the envy of many of the other
monarchs in Europe, sadly all lost after the Civil War.
The gardens that now replace it feature a wide range of fascinating styles. The
garden tours will be led by Mark Lucas, Doug Pinchin, Linda Duffield and Paul
Velluet, who will tell the story in an informative and light-hearted way.
This event is only open to members of Richmond Local History Society, with a maximum of one guest for each member. The event includes a sparkling wine reception and canapés on the lawn
Tickets are £10 each, and numbers are limited. Tickets must be booked in advance through Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/rlhs-summer-party-gardens-of-trumpeters-house-tickets-1369563424069
There will be no ticket sales at the door. THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
